Just in time for Valentine's Day...we had the pleasure of capturing Emilia and Marcel's love story, a couple recently engaged and absolutely radiating chemistry. Their engagement shoot was a blend of romance, fun, and style — and it all began at the charming Åpent Bakeri Tranen in Oslo.
The day began with warming up with some delicious coffee and freshly baked pastries (the perfect fuel for a chilly winter morning!). The bakery was kind enough to allow us to shoot inside, and the atmosphere was perfect — moody and romantic, with just the right touch of coziness. Emilia and Marcel couldn’t keep their eyes off each other, and the energy between them was palpable. Their connection was electric, and it made our job so much easier to capture such genuine moments.
Now, let’s talk about style! These two are seriously fashionable. Emilia’s wool, tailored coat was the epitome of winter elegance, and that embroidery on her jacket? Absolutely stunning! The delicate detail was a perfect reflection of her sophisticated taste. And don’t even get us started on her navy blue, fluffy purse — it was the ideal accent to her look, adding just the right amount of fun to her outfit. Marcel’s sleek style complemented hers so well, and together they looked like they belonged in a fashion magazine.
While they were definitely up for some serious, posed shots (which we happily delivered), it was impossible to capture them without a few spontaneous smiles — and who could blame them? The love between them is contagious. Their laughter, their glances, their shared moments made every shot feel like a piece of art.
After our time in the bakery, we wandered down to the beautiful Akerselva river, where the architecture in Alexander Kiellands Plass served as a stunning backdrop. The combination of historic beauty and modern love made for some truly breathtaking images. And of course, we couldn’t resist letting them play in the snow for a bit — who says engagement shoots can’t be fun, right?
